  • 3/9 Free Livestream Lessons with UConn Swing & Blues

Interested in learning how to dance? UConn Swing & Blues teaches beginner-friendly dance lessons every Tuesday! Swing dance is a culmination of dance styles created by the African American dance community, originating from the Harlem Renaissance in 1920s New York City, encompassing everything from Charleston to Lindy Hop to Jive.

Join us online this week for our dance lessons! We'll be teaching the second half of the Goody Goody routine, as well as the second half of the Boogie Woogie routine! Be sure to check out our lesson from last week where we teach the first half to both those routines.

All levels of dance experience are welcome. Learn how to dance from the comfort of your dorm, no partners required! We are an LGBTQ+ safe space. Lessons are free to watch, and moderators will be answering questions to the best of their abilities. Check our Facebook out for our in-person lesson COVID-19 regulations!
