  • Participants Needed: Headache & Migraine Study

Participants Needed in Study Analyzing Whether Stimulant Drugs and/or ADHD/ADD Effect Headache and Migraine

Volunteers are needed to participate in a research study investigating the extent to which ADHD/ADD and stimulant drug use can contribute to the dysregulation of ones’ lifestyle. The research study will attempt to understand the extent to which a dysregulated lifestyle can contribute to ones’ headache experience. Undergraduate students who experience at least two headaches or migraines a month are needed and encouraged to participate.

    Who can participate?

    • Those over the age of 18
    • Undergraduate students currently enrolled at UConn (both remote and on-campus students are welcome to participate)
    • Those who experience at least two headaches or migraines a month (diagnosed or undiagnosed)

If you qualify for the study (based on a 2-5 minute short screening survey), you will be assigned a random identification number and immediately prompted to read an electronic informed consent and asked to agree or disagree to the terms of participation in the study. Participants will be asked to complete a ten-minute-long online survey inquiring about their eating and sleeping habits, whether they have ADHD/ADD, their stimulant drug usage, and their headache experience. Participation in the study is voluntary and strictly confidential. Participants will not be compensated for participation in the study.
