    Have you been thinking about learning R but didn't know where to start?

    Data Science Club in hosting an Intro to R Workshop on Wednesday Feb. 24 at 6PM. This is open to all so all are welcome!

    The one leading this workshop is Tuhin Sheikh. He is Awesome! He has hosted multiple workshops before so you may have heard of him. In fact, he has gotten the Trainers’ Award (with a scholarship) for conducting the workshop on Introduction to R at the UConn Sports Analytics Symposium in 2019.

    Why learn R?
    - R is the most popular language in the world of Data Science. It is heavily used in analyzing data that is both structured and unstructured. This has made R, the standard language for performing statistical operations.
    - R has Unique features that set it apart from other languages.
    - R has become one of the most popular programming languages and is used in almost all industries! For example Facebook uses R to social network analysis!

    What is the goal of the Workshop?
    - provides a hands-on experience to learn the basics of modern R
    - learn about managing your R projects, data types, variable assignments, data structures, and visualization packages
    - build confidence in starting an R project!

    Requirements:
    - Nothing!
    - No prior familiarity with R is required, we will be starting from the very beginning.
