  • Virtual Summer in Toulouse Program

Summer in Toulouse is a four-week, 6-7 credit program designed to fully immerse students in the language and culture of France. This year, the program has been adapted to the virtual environment. The language school in Toulouse, Langue Onze, has been teaching French online since last summer through their e-learning platform “Le plus en ligne.” Although students will not be physically in Toulouse, they will learn about French culture through the class taught by UConn Visiting Assistant Professor Elisabeth Buzay, and through activities arranged by Langue Onze. These activities will allow UConn students to interact with students in Toulouse during coffee conversations, tours of Toulouse, and even French karaoke!

This program is open to students from all majors, though students must have completed FREN 1101 or have equivalent experience. For more information, please visit the program brochure. The student application deadline for summer is March 14.
