    Second Chance Educational Alliance is looking for volunteer Teacher’s Assistants for the Spring 2021 semester. 

    We are looking for strong students to serve as virtual teacher’s assistants for each of the following classes: Sociology 200, Management, Math (Algebra), and Contemporary History. Having a major/minor or related major to one of these courses is preferred. Tutors will be working through Second Chance Educational Alliance which provides higher education to incarcerated and formerly incarcerated students as well as a staff cohort. Volunteers will be working directly with the teacher for each course and connecting with students. Responsibilities include managing breakout rooms and assisting with grading. Each class is held once a week in the evenings. 

    Sociology: Monday 5-7 pm

    Management: Wednesday 7-9 pm

    Math: Friday 5-7 pm

    Contemporary History: TBD - Monday or Wednesday evening
