Spring 2021 Doctoral Student Travel Fellowship Funding
The Graduate School is pleased to offer travel funding support to doctoral students actively participating in presenting their research at national or international meetings/conferences. The funding support will be a $750 travel fellowship. Spring 2021 applications will be open from January 1 through January 31, 2021 with awards made in February. Students who are eligible may apply for the one-time only amount of $750 in travel fellowship funds. Funds are limited and are not guaranteed. Funding will be disbursed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Please note: These funds are intended to be used for travel to meetings at which the student is presenting their research. However at this time the money may be used toward registration for an online meeting during pandemic travel restrictions or for annual meetings to be held at a future date.
An application can be submitted between January 1 and January 31, 2021 by going to The Graduate School website under Financing / Fellowships and Awards. You will receive a return e-mail stating that your application has been submitted. The application will then be reviewed for eligibility and a decision will be e-mailed to the student as well as the student's graduate program financial coordinator and major advisor in February.
Students are responsible for knowing any and all travel advisories and restrictions and should plan accordingly. Requests for travel approval may be affected by restrictions.
