In Memoriam

  • Passing of UConn Student, Tyler Stevens

It is with great sadness that we share with you the passing of one of our students, Tyler Stevens. Tyler passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2020 in a motor vehicle accident.  A junior from Shelton, Connecticut, Tyler was a student in the School of Engineering studying Civil Engineering.

Tyler had many connections on campus, working in the Student Union, as a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the National Society of Black Engineers. Through his involvement on campus and his dedication to his classes Tyler represented the best of UConn and his loss will be difficult to process.

At this time service information is not available. Condolences to the Stevens family can be sent to the Dean of Students Office, 233 Glenbrook Road, Unit-4062, Storrs, Connecticut 06269-4062.
