  • 12/1 CAPM Certification Training Offered by UConn CITI

CITI (CT Information Technology Institute), a division of the UConn School of Business, is offering CAPM® (Certified Associate in Project Management) training with CITI’s instructor, Jay Bardalai.

CAPM® certification is available through the Project Management Institute (PMI.org), the preeminent project management certifying body.

This first level targets those that are new to project management or are currently working as part of a team and would like to learn the principles.

For both graduate and undergraduate students, learning the basics of project management and achieving certification is a good first step to enhance your career.

The curriculum is based on PMI’s PMBOK® 6th Ed. Course materials include a binder of slides and both the PMBOK® 6th Ed., and a CAPM manual by R. Mulchay. Once completing this course, you are eligible to sit for the CAPM exam through PMI.org.

Offered on-line via Webex, this is a 3-day course, Dec. 1st – Dec. 3rd, 2020 from 9:00am – 5:00pm. Other course dates will be available starting in February 2021.
