We know our off-campus students missed gloveBOX this semester, so we’ve developed something just for them! In collaboration with Off-Campus and Commuter Student Services, Student Health and Wellness will be hosting a safe and socially distanced “Condom Blitz” starting Tuesday, November 10th so our off-campus students can pick up free safer-sex supplies, including condoms, lubrication and dental dams!
All off-campus students are invited to stop at any one of our three locations this week. Our UConn Sexperts and gloveBOX team will be there to provide you with supplies in a safe and socially distanced way.
- Tuesday, November 10th from 1pm-3pm – Carriage House Apartments (by the laundry room)
- Wednesday, November 11th from 4pm-6pm – The Oaks
- Friday, November 13th from 11am-1pm – South Campus by Wilson Hall roundabout - walk up or drive thru
Similar to gloveBOX, you can request one of four combos of supplies:
- Mystery (20 condoms, 3 assorted lubes)
- Larger (20 larger condoms, 3 assorted lubes)
- Non-Latex (20 non-latex condoms, 3 assorted lubes)
- No-Glove (15 lubes, 3 dental dams, 3 gloves)
All students picking up supplies must be wearing a face mask, or will be asked to leave. We ask that in order to maintain social distancing, to please keep 6 feet in between individuals if a line forms (ground markers will be in place as a guide). We encourage couples or groups to attend separately to limit the number of students in the area.
