School, Program, and Course Information

  • Today is the Last Day to Withdraw from a Course

The Office of the Registrar would like to remind you of a very important deadline:

Monday, November 2, 2020  is the last day to Withdraw from a Course

The “Withdraw from a Course” online form is available here:  https://registrar.uconn.edu/forms/

There are many times that dropping a course is beneficial. Here are factors to consider when making this decision: course withdrawal(s) may have impacts on your financial aid, progress to degree/advisement report, ability to participate in athletics, and your student status with International Student Support Services. Because of this, we encourage you to discuss this with members of those offices so you can make an informed decision.

Once submitted, this form will be routed to your advisor for review and approval. Please discuss this with your advisor before submitting the form, failure to do so may result in delayed processing or form denial.

If you are withdrawing from more than one course in a semester, the form will also be routed for review and approval from your Dean/Directors' Office.

Note that withdrawals will incur a “W” for withdrawal on the academic record.

We are happy to help or answer any questions you may have.  Please contact us in person, via phone at (860) 486-3331, or by email at Registrar@uconn.edu.
