School, Program, and Course Information

  • 10/28 or 10/30 Public Policy Virtual Info Sessions

UConn’s Department of Public Policy (DPP) offers three master’s degrees in public administration (MPA), public policy (MPP) and survey research (MASR).

    • The MPA provides skillsets in public affairs and nonprofit management and leadership.
    • The MPP provides skillsets to analyze, develop and evaluate policies and programs.
    • The MASR provides skillsets to design and manage data, projects and surveys.

The DPP also offers a Fast-Track 4+1 program that allows UConn undergrads to take grad level coursework at no-additional cost to their undergrad tuition towards one of our grad degrees.

Within six months of graduation 97% of our students are employed or pursuing further education in law, medicine or a PhD program. This statistic has reigned true even with the pandemic. Our alums work in the public, nonprofit and private sectors in areas including but not limited to:

    • Education

    • Diversity and inclusion
    • Local, state and federal government
    • Healthcare
