UCONN Nu Rho Psi will be having Dr. Etan Markus as a host for our second virtual Neuro Night of the year on October 28th at 7 PM. Dr. Markus will be speaking about how became involved in psychology and neuroscience as well as his involvement in various areas of research. Currently, Dr. Markus explores the areas of learning processes, memory formation, aging, and the relationship between the brain and behavior. He also teaches several courses in the Department of Psychological Sciences including PSYC 2209: Learning and Memory: From Brain to Behavior, PSYC 5285: Neurobiology of Aging: Changes in Cognitive Processes, PSYC 3250W Animal Behavior & Learning Lab, and PSYC 5351: Neural Foundations of Learning and Memory.
