Interested in volunteering at a local hospital and working closely with an underserved community?
The Windham Hospital Volunteer Program hopes to begin in-person volunteering in January 2021!
The Windham Hospital Volunteer Program is a program through Community Outreach that offers students opportunities to volunteer a few hours a week at Windham Hospital alongside nurses, technicians, and providers. There are a variety of departments to volunteer in like physical therapy, oncology, and emergency medicine! Volunteer hours can involve patience assistance and helping medical professionals as needed. Students with their EMT certification can also work as an EMT through Windham Hospital should they have at least one year of experience on an ambulance and a clean driving record for at least two years.
