The demographics of the United States are rapidly changing. By 2030, one in five Americans will be 65 years of age or older. Becoming "aging competent" can enhance any academic and career path. The Department of Human Development and Family Sciences offers a Minor in Gerontology that is appropriate for nearly every major.
