Come join Ecogarden club, BAILE, and other cultural organizations as we Plant Our Roots in discussing vegetables (and other foods) that are important to our cultural heritage. This is a show-and-tell style event where we’ll share foods, recipes, and conversation about different vegetables and how they grow. This event will help us plan for our Planting Our Roots project, where we’ll be collaborating with cultural centers and organizations to grow culturally-significant crops in the spring semester.
On-campus residents can attend the event in-person, in SU 304 (RSVP here), and all students are welcome to attend virtually. There’ll be trivia too!
For honors students, this event is considered an Honors event in the category of Multiculturalism & Global Citizenship.
