Last year, UConn conducted a study showing how large the issue of food insecurity is among undergraduates on all its campuses.
By leveraging the financial resources of the Undergraduate Student Government, Husky Market seeks to provide a direct service to food insecure students at UConn.
USG is launching a six-week pilot program where we are sending $30-$50 gift cards weekly to UConn Storrs Undergraduate students who require financial assistance in accessing healthy & nutritious foods.
The application to apply for Husky Market is below, and the application deadline is 10/06 at noon.
