  • KSI Forearm Cooling Study

    MALE SUBJECTS WANTED for the Impact of Immersion Cooling Equipment (ICE) on Exercise Performance in the Heat at UConn, Kinesiology Department. 

     
    Purpose: to determine if forearm ice water cooling impacts performance after exercising in the heat 
     
    Eligibility requirements:
    - Healthy males ages 18 to 30
    - Fit, recreationally active males (at least 30 minutes of exercise 4-5 days a week) with no prior history of adverse reactions to the heat or ice water
     
    Participants will be eligible for monetary compensation.
