Horizons’ Mission Statement is: To create and sustain person-centered opportunities for people with special needs where they live, learn, work and play.
Horizons hosts weekend camps with activities that are tailor made for children and adults with developmental disabilities and other special needs over the age of 8.
At Horizons, you have the opportunity to teach arts and crafts, cooking, exercise, and science to campers and gain one on one connections with the individuals you work with! Due to COVID, this semester we will be virtually connecting with campers through video lessons. However, when Horizons is in person, commitment is only 4 Saturdays throughout the semester from 9am-1:30pm!
