Jumpstart is a national early childhood education organization that serves preschool children living in under resourced neighborhoods and is working toward the day every child in America enters school prepared to succeed. Jumpstart partners college students around the country with preschool children for the academic year to promote the development of their language and literacy skills. Jumpstart UConn has been a part of Community Outreach since 2007. Each year, we select 80 dedicated UConn students to participate in our program.
No matter your year or major at UConn, we encourage all students who have a passion for working with young children to apply and get involved in our program!
