We are UConn's award-winning Raas-Garba Team. We represent the University at competitions around the country. In the last few years we traveled to Washington DC, San Diego, Miami, Austin, Columbus, and the RAS X National Championship in Dallas!

No experience is necessary; most of our dancers have never danced before joining the team (including two of our captains).
How it works:
UCTR Workshop is a great place to meet new people and have a good time. We will be hosting our workshop on Wedensday, September 16 at 9 PM on Zoom! The tryout choreography is short, simple, and easy! If you would like to then tryout for the team, just send us a video of you doing the choreo by 11:59 PM on Thursday, September 17! We will be available at any point throughout to help you with anything you need!
