The University Ballet Company is the University of Connecticut's first ballet company. We offer weekly company ballet classes and perform classical ballet repertoire. We welcome dancers of all levels from pre-professional training to little or no experience to our three divisions.
Our upper levels include experienced dancers who have trained with pre-professional programs including Boston Ballet, The Hartt School, American Ballet Theatre, Gelsey Kirkland Academy, Orlando Ballet, Nutmeg Conservatory and Pennsylvania Ballet. Dancers with less experience will be placed in their own level with classes that will teach the fundamentals of ballet.
Over 100 dancers took part in UBC's Spring 2020 auditions. Stop by the fall involvement fair to learn more or contact us with any questions!
