  • Beinecke Scholarship for Juniors

Are you an academically high-achieving junior who aspires to enter a research- or creative-focused master's or doctoral program in the arts, humanities, or social sciences after graduation?  Have you received need-based financial aid from the University, your state, or the federal government to offset the costs of attending UConn?  If so, you may be eligible for the $34,000 Beinecke Scholarship.

The University of Connecticut is proud to be one of a select number of institutions invited to nominate one candidate each year to compete at the national level for this prestigious award.  Beinecke Scholars receive $30,000 to fund their graduate education as well as an additional $4,000 immediately to offset the costs associated with applying to graduate school, including travel.

Applications for campus nomination are due later this fall.  Visit https://www.onsf.uconn.edu/the-beinecke-scholarship for more details on this award and others supported by UConn's Office of National Scholarships & Fellowships.
