During the first week of classes (August 31st-September 5th), the Learning Community Innovation Zone (LCIZ) will exclusively be offering tours of the makerspace. As part of the tour, students will have the opportunity to engage with our staff and learn more about what the LCIZ Makerspace has to offer, such as machines & equipment, upcoming events & workshops, and available materials. There will also be a review of the safety measures that will be in place as part of the UConn Promise along with the trainings needed to be complete prior to using the space.
