**New Course for 2020**
GSCI 4720: Environmental Geochemistry
Distance learning, Tuesday/Thursday 11:00AM-12:15PM
This Fall 2020 marks the first offering of Environmental Geochemistry (GSCI 4720).
Environmental geochemistry deals with the application of chemical principles to environmental problems. For students interested working in the environmental field after graduation, many of the problems you will deal with when you enter the work force involve chemical impacts on humans and the environment.
This course is focused on providing real-world skills and knowledge of the geochemistry of earth systems and is appropriate for students with a wide range of majors in the physical or environmental sciences, natural resources or engineering.
The course will be taught via synchronous distance learning for Fall 2020, but will include real-world examples and case studies.
