Drop the Bass is UConn's newest all female acapella group, and UConn's only community service-oriented acapella group! The purpose of the group is to bring the joy of music to those who are unable to experience it in their everyday lives. With a repertoire of current and classic pop songs, we plan on travelling to schools, nursing homes, hospitals, etc. We plan to adopt a classroom of students and help them form their own acapella group, perform for special needs students, giving them simple instruments so they can play along, performing for nursing homes, etc.
Transportation will be provided to events!
Auditions will be held from 9-11pm on:
Thursday December 5th, SU 319 (auditions)
AND
Friday December 6th, SU 312 (callbacks)
