The Nathan Hale Club will be hosting a 5K on December 7th to honor 1LT Keith N. Heidtman and CPT Jason R. Hamill. These two Army officers graduated from UConn and the Army ROTC program, and gave their lives in service to their country. Proceeds for this event will go toward support of the Nathan Hale Club.

We will also have a registration booth in the Student Union as well as on Fairfield Way in the coming days to compile a list of participants. Donations will go to the Nathan Hale Club, which funds our extracurricular activities, and are as follows:
$10 for participation in the race
$5 for prior service/current military with military ID
Further donations are greatly appreciated. Cash is encouraged, but checks can be made out to "Nathan Hale Club"
This 5K will be hosted on the UConn Storrs campus and participants will be required to arrive at 9 AM for registration, the race will kick off at 10 AM.
Various prizes will be given to the top runners as well as to veterans. Please understand that this 5K is open to absolutely anyone; feel free to invite family and friends!
