The Registrar’s office is pleased to announce that a new transcript request process is now available. This new process is quicker, easier, and more user-friendly for our students and alumni.
New: Electronic Official Transcripts
- Electronic transcripts are transmitted quickly via secure PDF to any email address that the student selects.
- Electronic official transcripts are now widely accepted around the world.
- These can be used in professional and graduate school applications, for licensing boards, and to verify graduation or enrollment for many purposes where official transcripts are required.
Improved Ordering Process: Paper Official Transcripts
- This service is available online 24/7.
- Transcripts are typically mailed within 24 hours of initial request.
- Flexible delivery methods including overnight express are available.
Tracking information is available for both electronic and paper delivery methods. There is a $5 fee for electronic transcripts and a $7 fee plus postage for paper transcripts that the student will be responsible for at the time of ordering. The University continues to offer paper student-issued official transcripts directly to students who come to any UConn Registrar’s office at no charge.
