Africa Rising: The Grassroots Movement to End Female Genital Mutilation by Paula Heredia
Wednesday, Nov 20th from 7 - 9pm Women’s Center Program Room (Student Union Room 421G)
In recognition of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on November 25th, a film documenting the grassroots activism against FGM (female genital mutilation, will be shown. A discussion on the film and FGM will be held afterward. Cupcakes and candy will be served.
