Looking for a semi-professional club where you can make friends, gain skills and connect with real professionals in your field of choice? Then the UConn Journalism Society is the club for you! While our club's main niche is journalism, we accept members from all types of majors who are interested in the field of journalism. We also accept members who have skills in writing, social media, technology,...basically anything that involves creativity and being social. Journalism is a field that is the epicenter for a lot of careers out there. You may go into communications, public relations, data research, sports analyzing, marketing, teaching,...you name it! In the past, we have had guest speakers in print and broadcast media, who you can watch and gain connections from. If you're looking for a club that you can gain an e-board position to put on your resume, this is the club for you! All of our e-board positions will be opening up next semester.
