Interested in being a WOW Leader?
We’re looking for students who are passionate about UConn, and will be great role models for incoming students. We want all of our first-year students to feel connected to campus and learn about all of the great stuff we’ve got going on here! WOW Leaders are responsible for helping first-year students acclimate to campus, share their Husky Spirit, build a network of peers, and have FUN! Being a WOW Leader is a great leadership opportunity to be part of a growing program focused on sharing all that UConn has to offer with incoming students.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead a group of first-year students through the WOW program
Assist with promotion of the WOW program and related WOW events
Represent the University of Connecticut, Department of Student Activities, and Major Events and Programs area in a professional and responsible manner as a student leader
Facilitate interactions, connections, and discussions among first-year students
Additional duties as assigned
