  • 2/4 Authors, Artists, Photographers: Get Published

    Are you an author or artist looking to get their work featured in a national publication? The Long River Review, UConn's premier literary magazine, is accepting submissions through February 4th!

    Those interested in written submissions can submit any genre: Fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, translation, drama, hybrid pieces or anything else related. All entries must contain a cover sheet detailing the title, genre and the author’s contact information.

    Those interested in art submissions can submit any of the following mediums: Photography, illustration, printmaking, paintings, comics, drawings and mixed-media works. These submissions must also have a cover sheet. Art submissions by UConn students will also be considered for the Gloriana Gill Art Awards and the Long River Art Award.

    Anyone considering submitting a piece of work has until Monday, Feb. 4, and must send their submissions to the Long River Review via their email: submissions@longriverreview.com. Be sure to include the genre of your work in the subject line.
