The Global Game Jam is the world's largest game jam event (game creation) taking place around the world at physical locations. Think of it as a hackathon focused on game development.
The University of Connecticut, Stamford Campus has partnered with the Ferguson Library, Business Council of Fairfield County, and Sacred Heart University to establish a Jam Site in Stamford. The event will feature keynote speakers from professionals in game design before students form teams to participate in the weekend challenge. Participation is free, and all students - no matter their area of study - are welcome to attend.
