UConn chapter of CPNP (the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists) will be hosting a screening of a documentary called "Of Two Minds" on Tuesday, September 24th from 6-9 pm in Oak Hall (room 112).
This documentary provides a close look into the lives of four individuals who suffer from the highly stigmatized and sometimes debilitating mental illness known as bipolar disorder, or manic depression.
For your reference, links to the trailer and the documentary's website are provided below.
After the screening, we will hold a Q & A session with a panel of experts on the topic. The panel will include the co-director and writer of the documentary, Lisa Klein. She was kind enough to fly out from California to attend our showing.
We would like to extend an invitation to all interested students and faculty members. It is a great way to learn about the mental illness from the patient's perspective.
