Are you interested in immigrant rights? What about healthcare, the environment, human trafficking, or social justice advocacy? If you answered yes to any of these, consider applying to the Immokalee, FL alternative break!
This week-long alternative break focuses on the struggles of migrant farmworkers, a community vital to the success of the agricultural industry but one often forgotten about by consumers. Participants will work with local organizations to learn more about the living and working conditions of migrant farmworkers, and support advocating for this population.
APPLY NOW at communityoutreach.uconn.edu/alternativebreaks! Applications close in TWO DAYS, Wednesday, October 24th at Noon!
