Sat Morning: Clinics with Mike Marquez, Vaquero Training Center 9 AM - 12 PM
Mike Marquez has been applying with great success the skills he learned growing up in the ranch lands of Northern California, a country steeped in the Vaquero traditions, to horses of all breeds and all disciplines. These skills have blended smoothly with the objectives and requirements of the new Western Dressage discipline, demonstrated by the 7 world championship titles and multiple reserve championships and top 5 awards Mike has won at 3 World Championship Shows.
9-10 AM– Fundamentals of Western Dressage
Developing obedience, forward and balance
10-11 AM- Learning to ride tests
Combining horsemanship and accuracy to produce a better test
11 AM- 12 PM – Learning to build Turn on the Haunches/Forehand
(And any other maneuvers we may want to address.)

Visit our well-populated and diverse Vendor Fair and Equine Camp Fair on Saturday - all under one roof at the Horsebarn Hill Arena! The Equine Camp Fair will feature camps in the area that have summer programs for campers - day and weeklong programs!
