Important University-Wide Announcements

  • UConn: Still Together

Tonight, the Initiative on Campus Dialogues together with campus partners, will host an evening of dialogue titled Still Together: Dialogue for Interconnectedness.  Members of the UConn community are invited to join the conversation.  More information about the purpose and format of Still Together can be found here.

Time: The dialogue will run from 7:00pm – 9:00pm this evening (Tues. Dec 5).  Doors will open at 6:15pm (light snacks provided).

Location (please note CHANGE): Rome Commons Ballroom.  Please enter through the exterior doors, next to the South Dining Hall.

    To participate:

    Arrive early
We have changed locations to accommodate as many people as possible, but please note that to ensure we can facilitate meaningful dialogue, participants this evening will be limited to 200.

    Bring your UConn ID
Tonight’s dialogue is for current students, faculty, and staff of UConn.  We look forward to future opportunities to dialogue with our broader community stakeholders.

Be ready to listen and share
This structured dialogue features no invited speakers and is not a forum for debate.  Instead it is designed to allow us to work toward understanding, respect, and trust through your active and open participation.

If you arrive after we have reached capacity, don’t worry!  There are more opportunities to take part in dialogue and support available to organize your own.  Here’s what you can do.
    1)    Join the mailing list of the Initiative on Campus Dialogues to stay up to date on dialogue and deliberation at UConn by emailing us at dialogues@uconn.edu.
    2)    If you’d like help organizing or hosting a dialogue, or would like to learn more about dialogues email us at dialogues@uconn.edu.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you this evening.
