The Office of the General Counsel created a manual to help users of unmanned aircraft systems (“UAS”), or drones, understand how to safely, responsibly and legally operate UAS. UConn faculty, staff and students should review this manual before using UAS in university-related activities or on university grounds. It is important that UAS are used safely and responsibly at UConn and in accordance with all relevant laws.
