    "Casualties" of the Model Minority Myth: The Role of Racial Ideology in Asian American Female Suicidality

    Dr. ELIZA NOH - Associate Professor, Asian American Studies Program, California State University, Fullerton

    Dr. Noh’s research interests include suicide among Asian American women, race, gender, coloniality and imperial transnationalism.  She earned her doctoral degree in Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley, and her bachelors in Women’s Studies with a Sociology concentration from Columbia.  She currently serves on the CSUF Students of Concern, Suicide Prevention, and Vietnamese American Taskforces.
