UConn Jazz Ensemble
UConn’s Jazz Ensemble will be performing at the Ballard Institute Theatre on Thursday, April 13, beginning at 7:00 pm. The concert will include an eclectic variety of jazz compositions, recognizing the talents of revered composers from Duke Ellington to Bob Mintzer. Co-directed by John Mastroianni and Doug Maher, the concert also guarantees professionally astute direction and consistency thanks to their respective, esteemed careers, which includes worldwide recognition and experience alongside celebrated musicians like Arethra Franklin and Tony Bennett.
Admission is free for all. The Ballard Institute Theatre is located at 1 Royce Circle in Storrs Center, just seconds off the UConn campus.
