Applications are being accepted for the 2017 Summer Undergraduate Research Fund (SURF) Awards. The SURF program supports full-time UConn undergraduates in summer research or creative projects. These competitive awards are available to students in all majors and at all campuses.
All student applicants and their faculty mentors are strongly encouraged to review the SURF Application Outline available on the SURF page of the Office of Undergraduate Research website. The outline provides detailed information about all of the required elements of the SURF application. We also encourage applicants and mentors to review the budget policies, evaluation rubric, and guidance for recommendation letter writers.
