When a HuskyCT class is copied or restored into a course for a new semester, some menu items may be duplicated or inserted “on top of” the previous layout. Typically, these are the first 4 items in the top left course menu. Forgetting to remove the duplicate links in the course menu causes confusion for students. To avoid student confusion and multiple email questions, please remember to remove the extra course menu items.
How to remove duplicate or unnecessary menu items. (Announcements, Course Overview and Syllabus, Library Resources, and My Grades).
First check each link to see if there is any content.
When you find a link in the menu that has no content, select the drop down arrow next to each undesired item and select “Delete”.
