Together let us raise awareness, inspire hope, celebrate the survivor, encourage early detection and work for a cure. Here are some ways to spread awareness throughout UConn Health and in the community:
Every Friday in October wear a pink item of clothing or accessory in your wardrobe to show support for our fight against breast cancer. Let us know if you would like a pink ribbon to pin on yourself.
On Sunday, October 16th we are Making Strides Against Breast Cancer! UConn Health is once again sponsoring the Survivor Tent so please get the word out to patients. All are welcome to join the UConn Health Husky Heroes team at Bushnell Park in Hartford to have a joy-filled morning and see strength, love and hope spread. Register at MakingStridesWalk.org/hartfordct.
Friday, October 21st is National Mammography Day! Please join Radiology and Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center staff wearing pink on the 1st floor lobby of the Outpatient Pavilion for a group picture!
