In our constant efforts to service UConn’s international community, this Fall the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning is offering the opportunity for international instructors (all faculty, TAs, postdocs, or staff involved with teaching) to continue working on their spoken English and teaching skills in weekly 1-hour group meetings. The exact content of each meeting will depend on each group’s interests and needs related to classroom effectiveness, such as pronunciation, active learning strategies, intercultural issues, presentation skills, etc. Meetings are currently being held on Tuesdays from 12pm to 1pm or Thursdays from 1pm to 2pm. If you are unable or unwilling to join a group, you can also schedule an individual confidential consultation.
