The 2016 - 2017 Health Care Open Enrollment for state employees will begin on Monday, May 9, 2016 and end on Friday, June 3, 2016.
Coverage selected during the open enrollment period will be effective July 1, 2016 through to June 30, 2017. The annual open enrollment period is the only time employees may change health plans or the dependents they cover without a qualifying status change. It is also the time when employees can change their Health Enhancement Program (HEP) election.
The Storrs Campus Open Enrollment Fair will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016.
The 2016 Open Enrollment Fair on the Storrs campus will be held on Friday, May 13th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Student Union Ballroom. Representatives from the insurance carriers will be available to answer questions and assist employees with their open enrollment decisions.
