  • 4/15 Foreign Policy Seminar

    Please join UConn's Department of History, on Friday April 15th, as we welcome University of Richmond Professor Ernesto Semán.   

    Dr. Semán is a historian whose work focuses on modern popular politics and culture in Latin America, U.S. foreign policy and the Cold War, his work focuses particularly on populist movements in Latin America after World War II.

    On Friday, he will deliver a presentation entitled, "Against the Populist Tide: US Responses to Argentine Labor Diplomacy in the Americas"

    There is a reception at 4:30 PM where refreshments will be served.  His talk starts at 5 PM and will be followed by Q&A.
