The 100 Mentor conference is being hosted by the Academic Achievement Center, First Year Programs, and Learning Communities. Mentoring programs across campus have an enormous impact on the lives of students at UConn. This exclusive conference is the perfect opportunity for your students' to enhance their mentoring skills. Students will participate in workshops presented by engaging, inspirational speakers on a variety of topics such as the key principles of mentoring, transferring mentoring into your career, and self-care for the helper. This is also a great opportunity for your students to network with other peer mentors. Only 100 mentors will be accepted so please we are asking program directors or coordinators to nominate 2-3 students by isiting http://goo.gl/forms/NCvYrI4NwN. Conference will occur on Saturday, April 2nd. There is no cost to your department & dinner will be served.
