This session will feature a panel of previous winners who will answer questions on how they approached their fellowship application. In addition to being able to locate funding, having a plan in place is the first step to getting started with a successful fellowship application.
October 8, 2015: 12:30-1:30pm, The personal statement/ Description of previous research, HBL Video Theater 2
Many fellowship applications require a personal statement or a statement of previous research, this session will take you through the basics of telling a compelling story.
October 15, 2015: 12:30-1:30pm, Research proposals for fellowships, HBL Video Theater 2
This session will equip fellowship applicants with the basic tools for constructing a research proposal.
October 22, 2015: 12:30-1:30pm, Revision and Review process, HBL Video Theater 2
One of the most important steps in the process of preparing a fellowship application is the review process. This session will provide key tips on the review process and help direct applicants to resources that could aid in the process.
