The Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation http://www.mkacf.org/Pages/Home.aspx funds innovative, translational research with the goal that these efforts will lead to improvement in the diagnosis, prognosis, prevention, or treatment of ovarian, uterine, breast or cervical cancer. The 2013 MKACF awards -- http://www.mkacf.org/Pages/CancerGrantProgram.aspx -- provide up to $100,000 for a two-year period.
UConn/UCHC may only submit one grant application. Pre-proposal applications will be reviewed by the ad-hoc scientific advisory committee, which will select the 2013 nominee.
