Assorted Sounds of UConn Jazz

The UCONN Jazz groups will perform an evening of music spanning a wide range of eras, styles and instrumentations - from bebop-infused quintets to big band swing! Song stylings by artists such as Charlie Parker, Jimmy Davis, and others will be featured. Earl MacDonald, UConn Associate Professor of Music & Director of Jazz Studies, will be directing an ensemble performing three of his original pieces. Coffee, espresso and pastries are available for purchase at Le Petit Marché Café.
