Dotted Dialogues: Contemporary Indigenous Art from Central Australia
YOU ARE INVITED TO THE OPENING RECEPTION
THURSDAY, September 3, 4:30 to 7pm
This exhibition presents paintings and sculptures that incorporate traditional iconography of the Aboriginal culture and reveal ancestral stories that reconnect indigenous communities with their ancestors, their land, and their heritage, while also sharing it with others. It was curated by the students in the Spring 2015 Anthropological Perspectives in Art class under the direction of Professor Françoise Dussart.

Bread & Puppet Theater is the subject of Brother Bread, Sister Puppet, the first in the Benton's OUTDOOR FILM SERIES, showing Wednesday, September 2, 7:30pm. Admission is free. The film series continues September 9 and 16.
